Professor Motomura pointed out that as the number of patients with heart failure continues to rise, the artificial heart has become one of the important means of treating end-stage heart failure. With advantages such as low hemolysis and high blood flow compatibility, the new third-generation EVAHEART system has shown good safety and efficacy in international multicenter clinical trials and will bring new hope to patients.

In the academic exchange session, Director Meng Qingzhi, Director Xu Dongjin, Director Wu Xusheng and Director Zhang Jianjun of the Yida Heart Center exchanged views with Professor Motomura on questions such as the coordinated medical and surgical treatment of cardiovascular disease and clinical research.
