Frequently Asked Questions

1. Which insurance policies can be handled with direct billing?

The hospital has established cooperation with a number of international medical insurance institutions. Whether direct billing is supported depends on a combined assessment of the insurer, the specific policy and the scope of cover. Submitting your insurance documents in advance before your visit is advised, so that the international service team can help verify this.

2. If my insurer is not a partner, can I still come to the hospital for treatment?

Yes. Even if your insurer has not yet established a direct billing arrangement with the hospital, you can still attend as normal. The hospital will provide medical records, an itemized bill, a diagnostic certificate and other relevant materials as needed, to help you apply to your insurer for reimbursement after returning home.

3. Can all medical costs be paid by insurance?

Not necessarily. The specific scope of reimbursement, the co-payment proportion and the deductible are all subject to the terms of the insurance product you have purchased and the outcome of the insurer's review. Costs outside the scope of insurance liability must be borne by the patient.

4. What insurance documents do I need to prepare before my visit?

You are advised to prepare in advance: the name of the insurer, the insurance card (or policy), the policy number and the patient's identity information. If the insurer has any other special requirements, the international service team will contact you in advance.

5. Can the hospital assist with insurance claims?

Yes. The hospital can provide medical documents such as medical records, a diagnostic certificate, an itemized bill and examination reports as required by the insurer, and will actively cooperate in preparing the materials needed for the claim.

To confirm whether your medical insurance supports direct billing, please contact the international insurance service team before booking. We will help you complete the insurance eligibility check and related preparations in advance.
