Academic Exchange | A Party of Ukrainian Ultrasound Experts Visits Our Hospital
In the golden autumn of October, the "International Ultrasound Academic Exchange Conference" was successfully held at our hospital. Combining academic exchange with on-site observation, the conference centered on "the development of pelvic floor ultrasound, sharing of the clinical application of pelvic floor ultrasound, and observation of pelvic floor scanning cases", with professional sharing and exchange through specialist lectures, exploring together the clinical application and development of ultrasound technology.
To begin with, Su Xiaobing, Vice President for Medical Affairs, extended a warm welcome to the party of Ukrainian ultrasound experts on behalf of Shanghai Yida Hospital, and gave a brief introduction to the development of Shanghai Yida Hospital and our hospital's research achievements and practical applications in the field of ultrasound technology. Vice President Su said that Yida Hospital has always taken an active part in international academic exchange and cooperation, and expressed the hope that this event would help build a deep friendship with the experts from Ukraine and jointly advance the improvement and development of international ultrasound technology.
At the conference, Xie Haibo, ROW Regional Director of Mindray Medical, said in his address: thank you to Yida Hospital for holding this international ultrasound academic exchange conference, which has brought about international academic exchange between the ultrasound expert team of Shanghai Yida Hospital and that of Ukraine. He said that Mindray Medical has always been dedicated to providing advanced ultrasound equipment and technical support for international healthcare, and also hopes to jointly advance the application and development of international ultrasound technology by strengthening cooperation with Yida Hospital.
Amid warm applause, the unveiling ceremony for the cooperation between Shanghai Yida Hospital and Mindray Medical officially began. The unveiling of the "National Demonstration Base for Clinical Training in Pelvic Floor Ultrasound" marks the entry of the cooperation between the two sides into a new stage. As a medical institution with extensive clinical experience and a deep academic foundation, Yida Hospital, through this strong alliance with Mindray Medical, an internationally renowned medical equipment supplier, will consistently uphold the hospital motto "Great virtue upholds the art of medicine, a great physician is skilled and sincere", injecting new vitality into the development of international healthcare and benefiting more patients.
The academic exchange session of the international ultrasound conference then got under way. Lei Kairong, Director of the Department of Ultrasound Medicine at Shanghai Yida Hospital, spoke on the topics "Pelvic Floor Ultrasound in China" and "The Clinical Application of Pelvic Floor Ultrasound", introducing the development of pelvic floor ultrasound technology in China and the practical clinical application and diagnostic and treatment value of the technology, and explaining in detail how pelvic floor ultrasound technology can be used for the precise diagnosis and treatment of common pelvic floor dysfunctions such as urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and chronic pelvic pain.
At the end of the ultrasound theory learning and exchange, the Department of Ultrasound Medicine at Yida Hospital had also specially arranged an on-site session for observing pelvic floor examinations. Under the guidance of professional physicians, everyone carefully observed the process of pelvic floor scanning and held in-depth discussions on the relevant techniques and procedures. Through the exchange and discussion of theoretical knowledge and hands-on clinical examination, the Ukrainian expert team gained a deeper understanding of pelvic floor ultrasound technology in China, and new substance was added to the cooperation and exchange between China and Ukraine in the field of international ultrasound technology.
