Director of the Department of Cardiovascular Ultrasound
He has worked in cardiovascular ultrasound diagnosis for more than 35 years, with long-standing dedication to clinical care, teaching and research in cardiovascular ultrasound. He has successively served as Director of the Ultrasound Department at a Class A tertiary cardiovascular specialist hospital, member of the Cardiac Ultrasound Committee of a provincial ultrasound medicine and engineering society, and specialty director of a provincial ultrasound medicine committee, and is a discipline leader in the field of cardiovascular ultrasound.
He undertook advanced training at Fuwai Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, the PLA General Hospital (301 Hospital), Xijing Hospital of the Fourth Military Medical University and the Shanghai Children's Medical Center, systematically mastering advanced cardiovascular ultrasound diagnostic techniques used in China.
He has accumulated extensive experience in the ultrasound diagnosis of congenital heart disease, heart valve disease and complex cardiovascular disease, published 27 national and provincial academic papers, and received 18 national, provincial and municipal science and technology progress awards and research achievement awards. He now works in cardiovascular ultrasound diagnosis, teaching and research at Yida Hospital, School of Medicine, Shanghai University.
He has considerable expertise and extensive diagnostic experience in the ultrasound diagnosis of conditions such as congenital heart disease, heart valve disease, cardiomyopathy, hypertensive heart disease and coronary heart disease, and plays a decisive role in the smooth performance of clinical surgery, particularly in the diagnosis of difficult and complex congenital heart disease.
Interventional surgery under transesophageal echocardiography guidance: atrial and ventricular septal defect closure, left atrial appendage closure, mitral balloon dilatation; aortic valve implantation, mitral valve clip closure, positioning of artificial left ventricular assist devices, and so on, with extensive experience in the intraoperative monitoring and postoperative outcome assessment of all types of cardiac surgery.
